I have worked with Synergy Lighting for the last eight years, both in my role on the leadership team of Europe’s leading lighting manufacturer and of late in my role as Managing Director of McGregor Parry Limited. Synergy always make me feel confident that they get the job done. Over the years they have supported me with projects for leading high street retailers – Marks and Spencer, Morrisons and Ted Baker. Most recently they have sourced perfect fit product, warehoused, distributed and managed the installation process for 92 stores over a four month period. The latest project they have supported was for the installation of a large number of light fittings in a trading flagship retail store. Key to the successful delivery of this project was Synergy’s flexibility and adaptive approach to working hours and store access and their attention to detail – crucial in ensuring no disruption to the store trading environment.

Synergy have been instrumental in assisting us to remain on track with our store opening and refurbishment programme.  The team are incredibly professional and what I like most about their setup is the fact that there is a single point of contact – it makes my life a lot easier. Whilst they work across all of our programmes their most impressive performance to date was specifying, sourcing and supplying the LED luminaires for in excess of 240 stores during a 5 month rollout programme – they never missed a single delivery date which is a credit to them.

We first came across Richard and the team at Synergy through a mutual connection whereby Synergy had already carried out extensive works to their facility.  We were long overdue a new lighting scheme so we asked Richard to visit our facility and come up with a proposal.  One of the key messages that I delivered was that under no circumstances could any works or associated activity result in disruption to our incredibly busy site (we run 24hrs a day 5 ½ days a week).  After reviewing the proposal that Richard had produced we made some subtle changes and set about creating a critical path – I can honestly say that I wish all projects went as smoothly as that.
